Alex brings a mixed bag of tools in writing, content creation, and public relations that he has assembled through agency experience and from working with non-profits and startups in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor’s in public relations and marketing and moved to South Carolina to join the KeyMark team in 2021.

Things you should know about Alex:

My first words were in German, but I don’t speak German.
I never enjoyed wine until I did a study abroad program in Italy. One night, one glass and my life was changed.
I come from a line of family dentists currently stationed in New Hampshire. As such, I drive to New Hampshire to get dental work done.

If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be and why?

My wife because she’s the best, and author Neil Gaiman because that man is a creative genius with stories to tell.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

Interacting with anything fantasy or sci-fi. Reading books, playing games, or writing my own tabletop RPG adventures.

What is your favorite quote, and why?

At age 10, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A knight errant.

If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be?

A yurt lost in the middle of an old European countryside with nothing to warm me but a wood-powered stove, a sweater, and a spooky book.

If your future self could send a note to your current self, what would it say?
