5 Things I Learned At Horizons 2018

2 minute read

Each year KeyMark welcomes our customers, and those interested in finding out more about what we do, to Horizons. This two-day event is jam-packed with training, Q&A sessions, networking and fun. This year, the benefits of attending were obvious.

Here are five things I learned at Horizons this year:

1. Training Keeps Your Mind and Systems Sharp

With an entire day dedicated to training (with our own Amy Halperin, resident OnBase expert), we looked this year into best practices pointers, upgrade tips, and disaster recovery. Amy’s insight into her four best practices made it clear that keeping your mind sharp means you can plan for you future business requirements, fix issues faster, and make changes with minimal impacting your users.

2. Fellow Customers Are Your Allies

Customer case study presentations gave us a look into solutions that are used in a range of industries and departments. By seeing these fellow end users’ experiences detailed and getting valuable Q&A sessions, we got a look into different ways to use the tools KeyMark makes available and how customizable these systems really are.

3. The Tech Industry Knows How to Have Fun

KeyMark’s evening ECM Expo had it all- vendors available to meet and chat, delicious food and drinks, games and prizes, and a dance floor brought to life by the sounds of Kami Ocean and the Rhythm. Getting to hang out with reps and vendors in a casual space made it clear everybody is part of the KeyMark family.

4. The KeyMark Advantage is Real

We work every day to build, pursue, and develop systems that make information easy. Horizons give attendees an advantage over others in their industries and KeyMark turns customers into #ProductivityBeasts. With the KeyMark Advantage backing your organization, you’re free to become the organization you knew you could be.

5. There Are Some Really Cool Things On the ECM Horizon

We know spending two days immersed in the training and insights from experts gets people excited about what’s coming! We want to make sure our users are ahead of trends and making the most of the tools KeyMark has available to help them. Ed McQuiston, EVP and Chief Commercial Officer at Hyland, gave product updates and an in-depth look into digital transformation. Kofax’s Sr. Director of Product Marketing introduced RPA.

We named our event Horizons for a reason- we’re keeping our eyes on the Horizon for what’s next and best.
