Step-by-step Guide
1. Data & Document Capture
Intelligent capture takes your data and documents from any source or file type, whether that’s an email, fax, PDF, XML, batch files or scanned-in from a hard file. Documents and data are captured at ingestion points entering your organization.
2. Separation & Identification
AI algorithms wield predefined rules, machine learning, and context to make intelligent decisions on document types, and separate and identify files with little to no human intervention or need for things like manual sorting or bar code separators.
3. Intelligent Character Recognition
Now that your files are organized and in order, intelligent capture and character recognition take it a step deeper by automatically parsing out and summarizing information from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data (data not contained in a form-field or clear system of organization).
4. Validation and Verification
Intelligent Capture can make near-perfect estimations on characters, words, and sentences in your documents and data, but will flag an exception to be sure for a human in the loop. These exceptions add to the algorithms training for improved accuracy over time.
5. Straight-through Data Processing
Now that data has been intelligently captured, labeled, and verified, it is automatically routed to relevant systems and users, and stored within a content services solution or repository for 360-degree controlled access.
