KeyMark, a leading provider of enterprise information management software solutions headquartered in Pickens County, South Carolina, held a “Shovel and Shindig” event to announce new office headquarters in Pickens County and programs to benefit local students.

The new building will be situated on approximately 8 acres of land that is currently home to KeyMark’s office headquarters. The new facility will enable KeyMark to expand its operations, providing additional space for KeyMark’s growing employee base.

The new building will accommodate up to 110 employees and will feature technology-rich offices, state-of-the-art conference and training facilities, collaboration spaces, wellness center and locker rooms, an employee break room and an indoor/outdoor covered patio with an adjacent outdoor fireplace. Trehel Corporation is the general contractor for the project. Construction is slated to begin this summer with a move-in date planned for early 2018.

“This expansion will allow us to enlarge our national footprint while keeping our roots right here in Pickens County and the Trehel-LogoUpstate,” said Jim Wanner, CEO at KeyMark. “We are committed to this area and look forward to further growth right here at home. Our new headquarters will provide us with a much needed state-of-the-art facility to recruit additional team members and support our aggressive growth plans.”

During the event, KeyMark announced two new student programs, including a JumpStart internship program, which will enable qualifying college juniors and seniors to begin working at KeyMark as a part-time, paid intern and transition to a full-time, paid position upon graduation. KeyMark also released details about the establishment of a new KeyMark Scholarship fund, which will provide 10 qualifying Clemson University School of Computing students from Pickens, Anderson, Greenville, and Oconee counties the opportunity to receive a $1,000 annual scholarship.

“There is a talented workforce and supportive business environment in the Upstate,” said Wanner. “It’s important to do all we can to help grow the talent right here in our own backyard.”
